Behind many “I made £10k from one prompt” stories are customer research, product decisions, testing, fixing, promotion, support, and failed attempts that do not appear in the video. Some people do make real income with AI-assisted products, but the prompt is not the cause by itself.
AI can reduce the cost and time of some tasks. It cannot create demand, trust, a profitable offer, or a reliable customer-acquisition system from one sentence.
What to do
Use AI as an accelerator, not an income guarantee:
1. Pick a specific problem for a specific audience.2. Test the problem before building a large product.3. Use AI to draft the smallest useful offer, page, or prototype.4. Put it in front of real people and record what they do, not just what they say.5. Check pricing, support, delivery costs, refunds, and repeat demand.6. Treat guaranteed earnings claims as a warning sign and ask what evidence is missing.
A good prompt is a starting point. The business still has to work in the real world.
